DISCIPLESHIP

"Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men."

– In Mark 1:17, Jesus says this to the first disciples.

Discipleship is the process of following and becoming like Christ and fishing for others.  At Calvary we have opportunities for discipleship through various men, women, student and children's ministries in addition to Sunday school Small Groups & D-Groups.

Our goal is to see each follower of Christ follow a specific Christ-designed discipleship pathway.  We pray that each believer hears the Word of God in a clear in understandable way and that the Holy Spirit begins that sanctifying work in each life.  This process of coming together to disciple believers, who will in turn disciple other believers, results in a church with a solid foundation in Christ.  Then, as our Lord directs, we go into the world and witness to a lost, hurting world, proclaiming the grace-filled gift of Salvation.  This is done through going, serving, and loving others in, “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of this world.” - Acts 1:8

Our church mission is to COME, SERVE, & GO TOGETHER.

We'd love to help you get connected to a Sunday school small group or D-Group for greater accountability.

Sunday School

The small group atmosphere and design of Sunday school classes allow members to connect not only through the study of God's Word, but to life as well. A 'caring community' of believers is exactly what the early church was all about. Sunday school is a tremendous connecting point for those who attend and allow you to grow deep in relationship with others. Join us at 9AM on Sundays.

D-Groups

A D-Group is a group of 3–5 believers who meet weekly to intentionally engage in spiritual growth through accountability, bible study, and prayer as they live life together. D-groups are about disciples coming together to learn how to be disciple-making disciples. To learn more about D-Groups, leading or becoming a part of one, contact Bro. Jason Marshall.
